Sarah Anderson is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from London and the South-West. Strings and vocals are often at the forefront of what she writes, produces and performs.
Sarah co-founded the sound-art collective Circumstance, creating experiential sonic works for public spaces, theatres, museums and art galleries around the world.
She recently performed synths at the National Theatre’s production of the London Tide - an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Our Mutual Friend by PJ Harvey and Ben Power.
She was a long term member of bands such as doom-prog-rock collective Chrome Hoof, and post-punk trio Bas Jan.
She works as singer and arranger with Deep Throat Choir and has performed with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Simian Mobile Disco and Jarvis Cocker.
